WHAT UP YALL OH SHIT PODCAST 3 THE THEME IS COPS WHAAAT!
This is by far the best VF podcast so far. The theme is community frustration with or opposition to police. Within the confines of 1) languages that I understand 2) music that I've heard 3) that I liked and 4) that I had access to, I STILL found TONS of music that expresses the community's frustration with police. I couldn't fit all of the songs I thought of into it.
As I was putting this together I realized that people from many totally different cultures are basically expressing the same thing about police: they are violently oppressive to our community and we want them out. And I don't mean "we want the bad ones out;" almost none (if any at all) of the songs I used here care to compromise with the status quo.
I would like as many people to hear this as possible, if they'd be into it. Feel free to distribute it however you like. Just don't fucking sell it. You can even ask me for a copy of the high-quality audio to burn to CD. Also, I'd like to do a part 2 someday, so gimme suggestions! Or make your own! Ask me for help if you have no idea where to start, I love doing this digital audio shit.

The Internet Archive page has it in many formats (in case you want a smaller file and don't mind a loss in quality) in both MP3 and streaming audio.

The odeo page has the fancy streaming and also provides a link to the direct mp3 file. The best part is they provide a piece of HTML code that you can cut and paste into your blog or website so that other people who look at your page can listen to it.....AHEM.....Also, I'm pretty sure they have a feature to subscribe to my podcast using iTunes.

I do not necessarily agree with everything expressed in this podcast (but I can sympathize with it) and I do not condone purchasing music from major record labels. Edited for ignorance. Oh, and for those who think that "nigga" is the same thing as "nigger," don't worry, I put a little Sublime in there for you =).

I was sitting around at 2 am and decided to do a podcast (online radio show). About 2 hours of work later....BEHOLD!!
I randomly decided that the theme of my first podcast is the media (irony intended).No research was done for this and it was done entirely on my computer. It's half an hour long, and it could be a lot longer if I had actually thought about it and included the coup, krs-one, tupac, and everyone else that probably has songs about the media, and dug for epic-ass rare Panthers footage or something.
